135. Kansas City

At Municipal Stadium, Mickey Mantle of the New York Yankees at bat on Aug. 27, 1961. He hit 54 home runs that year. That's Haywood Sullivan catching for the A's, Eddie Hurley the home plate umpire, and Bill Kinnamon beyond third. New York 8, Kansas City 7. Attendance: 34,065. The A's moved to Oakland after the 1967 season. The stadium was demolished in 1976.

136. St. Louis

At Busch Memorial Stadium on April 18, 1992. With runners at first and second in the top of the sixth, Dwight Smith of the Chicago Cubs doubles against Omar Olivares, scoring Ryne Sandberg and Andre Dawson. Chicago 5, St. Louis 4. Attendance: 41,082. The stadium, which opened in 1966, was demolished in 2005.




137. Chicago

At Wrigley Field, Barry Bonds of the Pittsburgh Pirates at bat against Greg Maddux in the top of the first inning at 7:12 p.m. (see scoreboard) on July 27, 1992. Cubs 3, Pirates 2. Attendance: 34,990.

138. Chicago

With threatening weather at the new Comiskey Park on June 26, 1993. White Sox 7, Seattle Mariners 4. Attendance: 43,559. Robin Ventura (see scoreboard) became White Sox manager 18 years later.

139. Houston

At the Astrodome, June 25, 1995. Astros 19, Cubs 6. More runs than the Astros usually score in a week. Attendance: 16,944.

140. Baltimore

At Camden Yards on June 26, 1997. Toronto Blue Jays in the outfield with Cal Ripken Jr. of the Orioles at bat. Roger Clemens won for the Blue Jays, 3-0. Attendance: 47,617.

141. Chicago

At Wrigley Field on July 15, 1997. Craig Biggio of the Houston Astros at bat against Kevin Foster. Astros 5, Cubs 3. Attendance: 19,323.

142. Houston

Opening season for Enron Field (now Minute Maid Park), successor to the Astrodome. April 22, 2000. San Diego 8, Astros 6. Attendance: 42,121.




143. Philadelphia

At Veterans Stadium, Sept. 21, 2000, during warmups at 6:22 p.m. Phillies 6, New York Mets 5. Attendance: 17,769. The Phillies' home from 1971 through 2003 was demolished in 2004.


144. Houston
