The United States Air Force Academy, north of Colorado Springs. First graduating class was in 1959. The Cadet Chapel with its 17 spires was described in a 1962 pamphlet as "a unique structure of modern design…a tri-faith chapel where Protestant, Catholic, and Jewish services can be held simultaneously." Subsequently, "All-Faith Rooms" were added. The planetarium, no longer open to the public, is at right. Front Range mountains in the background. 1962
